Hi, I’m Carly!

I am the owner of CANB Design and I’m so glad you’re here! CANB Design is a residential design, drafting, and rendering company based in Northeast Nebraska. We provide services across the United States, so no limitations there!

CANB Design is based in the idea that design is functional and unique to every person. No one’s home should look like someone else’s. We all live and interact with our homes differently and that should be reflected in spaces. CANB Design doesn’t design the trendy, but for the style of each person so the design lasts the test of time.

Design that lasts is more sustainable, functional, enjoyable, and a true reflection of you. This could be the use of antique pieces, local makers, or whatever makes the most impact to your space.

P.S. If you’re interested in learning more about how CANB Design came to be check out this blog post.

More about me:

My entire life has pretty much revolved around design! I was that kid that always had graph paper and drew house plans (just a bit out of scale) and I spent a lot of my time with Lego. I went to college for Architecture at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and received my Bachelors of Science in Design and worked commercial design for a bit after graduating, but then found residential design and I don’t ever plan on turning back! Residential design is so special in the fact that each project is so unique and makes a great impact on the individuals that live within the walls. There’s nothing I’d rather be doing than creating a space for people that makes them excited and feel comfortable and like you can take on anything is my goal.

I live and work in small town Nebraska with my husband and in 2020, during the pandemic, we bought our first house and have spent the last couple years updating it and making it ours. We just finished a major front porch reno, but I’m gathering all sorts of ideas for our kitchen next! I’ll try to keep the blog updated so you can follow along.

Thank you for being here and I look forward to connecting with you!
