The Project:
Having built before with disappointing results, this couple came to me ready to create their forever home, one that maximized a compact lot with incredible views. By carefully tuning into their lifestyle, I designed a layout that packed in smart storage with zero wasted space, surprised them with a dream kitchen window they thought wasn't possible, and built custom displays for their beloved art and LEGO collections. The result is a highly functional, light-filled space that effortlessly captures who they are.
Rural Transitional
The Project:
Building on family land for their young, growing family, these clients brought me an initial builder sketch to refine and elevate. By making key layout tweaks, like widening the basement stairs, maximizing storage, and adding soaring ceilings in the main living spaces, we transformed a basic draft into a highly functional 2,200 sq. ft. design. Complete with 3D visuals and locked-in material choices, they walked away with a builder-ready plan and the freedom to focus on their kids instead of stressful, mid-build decisions.

Ready for retirement, this couple came with a unique vision: a home designed in multi-wing sections rather than a standard rectangle. I refined their initial sketch into an accessible, low-maintenance layout with soaring ceilings, zero wasted hallway space, and separate dual garages. The resulting plan balances quiet privacy for two with effortless hosting, even featuring strategically placed patio entries so visiting grandkids can pop in from the pool to the bathroom without trailing wet feet through the main living areas.
Sprawling Ranch
The Project:
After building a home that felt cramped despite its size, crammed with long hallways and tight rooms, this hesitant couple was ready to try again for a layout that actually worked. I designed an open yet thoughtfully zoned floor plan that cut out wasted corridor space, maximized natural light, and fit their furniture comfortably, all in 200 fewer square feet. The result is an effortless, connected home where mom can read in the sunroom while keeping an eye on her twin boys, giving them the perfect balance of togetherness and independent space.
East Coast Cozy Build
The Project:
Excited for their first build, this couple wanted a cozy, manageably sized home with plenty of character and room to expand in the future. Drawing inspiration from their favorite aesthetic, I crafted a charming layout complete with vaulted ceilings, a cozy breakfast nook, custom kitchen cabinetry, and a bright sunroom positioned for the best views. By designing around their cherished heirloom furniture pieces from day one, we created a warm, timeless home that felt perfectly lived-in and personal the moment they moved in.
Warm & Bold Renders & Material Selections
The Project:
Stepping in just as construction was kicking off, I helped a overwhelmed homeowner regain control of her build when the endless stream of material choices felt paralyzing. By creating a complete 3D model of her home, we walked through every room virtually, making confident selection decisions on finishes and custom features, like a charming hidden playroom under the stairs. Armed with crystal-clear 3D renderings, she was able to easily communicate her vision to her builder and watch her home come together stress-free.
